Be warned, I don’t like to sugarcoat things and stuff can get a little opinionated here at times! I hope you enjoy reading as much as I’ve enjoyed musing on all things Design, Childcare, Business and Sustainability.
Design
As a lover of all things design and asymmetry, with a renewed love for sustainable and repurposed materials, I love giving objects otherwise destined for landfill a second life.
Follow along as we navigate the complexities of an eco build and all the challenges facing us along the way.
Childcare, in particular the early years sector, has been a passion of mine since having the first of my children 19 years ago.
Anyone who knows me knows my stance on the current early years offering and its shortcomings. The following collection of musings focus on what we can do to improve the industry for the children of today, and for generations to come – instilling a ‘play first, developmental checkboxes later’ mindset.
The scale of the challenges facing our planet can seem daunting at times, but I strongly believe that if we all make little changes, together we can achieve something big.
I’ve put a lot of hours into researching and testing the best eco and sustainable hacks that work for my family. Don’t get me wrong, every family’s needs are different, and there is definitely no one right way to do things, but I do know there’s no Planet B so ours has to be protected at all costs.
